ABOUT
YAYASAN CHESHIRE
Yayasan Cheshire Indonesia, or also known as Wisma Cheshire is a social foundation, a non-government and a non-profit organization that was established by Leonard Cheshire in 1974. They help people with physical disabilities to have independent living through vocational training such as woodwork, handicraft / sewing, computer, and the English language.
ONEWORLD INDONESIA
ONEWORLD is a student-led non profit organization that was established in May of 2020 in hopes to empower the often marginalized communities in Indonesia. Since then, we have worked closely with UCPRUK (United Cerebral Palsy Roda Untuk Kemanusiaan) to donate twelve adaptive wheelchairs and work alongside the refugee community to provide fun learning workshops.
OUR IMPACT
We are working closely with 20+ persons with disabilities in order to address the job insecurity surrounding the disabled community. Our modules include financial literacy, career prep, and entrepreneurship.
We also provide mentoring for their ongoing business ventures, one of them being the Red Feather Shop where they sell woodwork.
