ABOUT
INDONESIA MENGAJAR
Indonesia Mengajar, also known as the Indonesia Teaching Foundation, is a nonprofit focused on overcoming educational inequality. Throughout December 2021, Indonesia Mengajar held Festival Kerja Bakti (or the 'Social Work Festival') as an initiative to engage more individuals and organizations to join their programs as volunteers.
FESTIVAL KERJA BAKTI: #BISATITIPSAYA
#BisaTitipSaya is one of the programs under Festival Kerja Bakti focusing on the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Within this initiative, volunteers work alongside small businesses registered with the Special Capital Region of Jakarta's provincial government (Pemprov DKI) to assist them in improving their sales after the impact of the pandemic.

OUR IMPACT
Along with other volunteers for the program, we collectively helped 20+ small businesses leverage their enterprises. The main contributions of Street Smart Society team members included providing guidance on strategies to increase sales for micro-enterprises selling food and jewelry. We primarily focused on digital marketing, by helping these small business owners set up their own social media accounts and creating posters for them.
