Vanessa Jaya
Founder and President
Hi everyone! My name is Vanessa Jaya, an 11th grader from National High Jakarta School, and I am the Founder and President of Street Smart Society.

“Be the change you want to see in this world” -- this quote was what pushed me to start this nonprofit. After joining several Model UN conferences, I find myself encountering the issue of income inequality numerous times. This inspired me to start thinking of ways in which I could possibly contribute to mitigating this incessant issue, starting with my local community.

With the support of my fellow team members and close friends who have also exerted great amounts of effort into this project, I hope that we will be able to create a significant impact in society. I look forward to seeing what lays in store for us, and hopefully work with you guys along the way!

Hey there! My name is Reina and I am currently an 11th grader doing the IBDP in Tunas Muda School. I am the Public Relations & Marketing Director of SSS, which in all seriousness, will keep a watchful eye out for any organizations and businesses who are open for collaborations!
Ever since high school, I’ve always loved participating in organizations, working with people, and at the same time, is passionate about current global issues including economic disparity. Especially in this situation where the underprivileged are being hit the hardest by the pandemic, I have come to a realization that teaching business, and basics of money management is really important.
So when my friend asked me to join this team, I’ve never been more thrilled!! With that, I am really looking forward to being part of SSS and making a change in the society.

Hello! I'm Charleen Sabini from SLI and I am the Finance Director of the SSS!
I initially joined this project because I wanted to step out of my comfort box and try out new things. I also liked the idea of teaching business studies to children so they can start their own businesses.

Hi there! I’m Chloe Boenardy, an 11th grader from Sekolah Lentera Indonesia, and I am honored to be part of SSS as the creative design director! Designing is something I am very passionate about and thanks to SSS, I am able to do what I love while also giving back to the community <3.
Business skills are essential, especially to help create greater opportunities for growth. By joining this social project, I look forward to helping the local community get a hold of these opportunities. I hope to make an impact in society together with my team, no matter how big or small.

Hello! I'm Agnes Filica from Binus Northumbria and I am the IT Director of the SSS.
I have always been excited to join an organization where I can contribute and give back to the community. I will be looking forward to this project where I can help children grow and learn more about business.
Along with the other members, I hope that this project will not only help me improve my skills but also give a huge impact to other children. I look forward to working and stressing out together with everyone :')

Hey Everyone! My name is Edward and I’ll be Street Smart Society’s (or SSS for short) Content Director!
